The East Atchison Wolves varsity baseball team hosted St. Joseph Christian Monday, May 3, 2021, in Tarkio. The teams played a close game, but St. Joe Christian pulled out the 20-17 victory.

The Wolves collected 11 hits to St. Joe Christian’s 15. The Wolves got on the board first in the first inning when Cory Stevens drove in one. After St. Joe Christian scored five runs in the top of the third, EA answered with five of their own. The Wolves scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Schlueter was on the hill for the Wolves with Braden Graves, Josh Smith, and Cameron Oswald acting as relief.

Stevens had a long ball in the fourth inning to score a home run. Oswald went three for five at the plate. Stevens, Schlueter, and Smith each contributed two hits. Bo Graves and Carter Holecek also got a hit each. Stevens led the Wolves in RBIs with four, followed by Oswald and Smith with three each. Zach Stevens, Bo Graves, Holecek, Trent Kingery, and Schlueter each had one. Individual EA stats follow:
