EA Wolves Varsity coasted to an easy victory over North Andrew 13-3 in Class 2, District 16 play on Saturday, May 15, in St. Joseph, Missouri, on the Missouri Western State University field.
EA Wolves Varsity pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. Jarrett Spinnato drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one runy, and Cameron Oswald singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. The Wolves put up five runs in the fifth inning. Oswald led EA with two hits and three RBIs.
Aaron Schlueter got the start on the mound for the Wolves, surrendering three runs on two hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out eight. Josh Smith finished up the game striking out one. Individual EA stats follow:

The Wolves advanced to the next round, played against Maysville, Missouri, Monday evening, May 17, on the same field in St. Joseph. Unfortunately, the Wolves lost the contest 5-9, ending their District and season play.
Cameron Oswald toed the rubber for the Wolves, going three and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and eight runs while striking out three. Josh Smith threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. EA collected five hits with Cory Stevens and Aaron Schlueter leading with two hits each.
