The Atchison County Development Corporation (ACDC) board met June 9, 2021. Board members present were: Bob Alldredge, W.C. Farmer, Lori Seymour, Roger Martin, Eryn Stepp, and Lydia Hurst. Monica Bailey and Carol Clark were also present.

The minutes of the April meeting were approved.

The April and May financials were also approved as presented.

The group discussed the possibility of moving some funds to a CD or money market checking account and will research options prior to next month’s meeting.

Director’s Report

• More memberships have been received this year than ever before.

• Business Improvement Program update: Basic Grant – six awarded, $5,041 remaining; 2.0 grant – three awarded, $4,246 remaining.

• 2019-2020 Youth Beautification Grant projects have been completed. Applications for the 2021-2022 projects are due August 31.

New Business

• The annual meeting will be held Wednesday, September 8, in Tarkio.

• A nonprofit request was discussed and tabled until the next meeting. Bailey will be in touch with the applicant.
