An assault occurred Monday, July 19, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p.m. at the Tarkio Athletic Center near the end of a volleyball tournament, out front (north side of building near the parking lot) towards the west end or southwest corner of the building. 

A male suspect struck a female victim and was observed running from the scene and exiting the area on foot into the parking lot and was presumed to have left in a vehicle from the area. The male suspect had brown hair and was said to be wearing a gray sweatshirt or hoodie.
