
Kelly Dougherty, a medical student at the University of Missouri-Columbia, was appointed to serve on the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Member Services’ Commission. This commission guides the AAFP’s membership efforts and assists the constituent chapters in their recruitment and retention efforts. Issues that may be considered by this commission include the value of membership, awards, Degree of Fellow, chapter relations, and monitor membership trends. Dougherty’s leadership term officially began on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, and lasts through Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Kelly is a 2014 graduate of Craig R-III (Craig, Missouri), and the daughter of John Dougherty and Nancy Johnson of Craig.
