The Pitch Club met Tuesday, July 23, 2021, at Martha’s B&B with Kay Rosenbohm and Sharon Smith substituting for us. Winner of high score was Kay. Norma Bradfield was second high and Pam Cooper had low score. I was hostess and served confederate tea cakes and ice cream. The coffee was one of Martha’s specialties. LIFEBOOST coffee is a low acid specialty coffee Martha orders from a Central American source and it makes a perfect accompaniment to desserts.

The round table was almost a town meeting with both national and state politicians discussed frankly. Then we jumped to law enforcement and always on to health issues. I was sorry I had to break up the fun by getting up to leave, trying to convince others to linger, but I have a young puppy at home that needs attention after five hours of hilarity.
