The Fairfax Kiwanis Club presented a check to the Fairfax Ministerial Alliance in the amount of $535 at their  Tuesday meeting last week.

The money is collected at their weekly meetings when the “Baloney and Brag” basket is passed to each member to contribute at least $1 to brag on a subject matter of their choice or just make a plain baloney statement. The year’s collection October through September is then given to the Ministerial Alliance for holiday contributions to families in need in Fairfax. The enjoyment by Kiwanis members throughout the year benefits others.
