The East Atchison Lady Wolves Golf Team placed 5th overall at the Class 1 Missouri State Girls’ Golf Championship. The team score was 852.

East Atchison Lady Wolves golfer Alex Barnett was a state medalist with her 13th place finish and a score of 200 at the Class 1 Missouri State Girls’ Golf Championship.

The East Atchison Lady Wolves Golf Team competed in the Class 1 Missouri State Girls’ Golf Championships October 18 and 19, 2021, at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club’s par 72 course in Bolivar, Missouri. The EA team placed fifth out of 9 teams with a score of 852. The other top five schools were: 1st – Villa Duchesne High School, 754; 2nd, New Covenant Academy High School, 799; 3rd, Centralia High School, 811; and 4th, East Buchanan High School, 846.

Lady Wolf Alex Barnett earned a state medal by placing 13th out of 82 total golfers. She scored a 101 the first day and a 99 the second for a total of 200. Other East Atchison golfers and their placements and scores follow: Sydnee Bruns, 42nd, 105 and 108 for a total of 213; Josie King, 48th, 111 and 107 for a total of 218; and Kelsea Kirwan, 54th, 106 and 115 for a total of 221.
