C.A.R.E. of Atchison Coun-ty is celebrating 20 years of service in helping domestic violence victims in our county. C.A.R.E has been providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault since 2001. C.A.R.E. has provided victims in Atchison County the following services for the last 20 years: crisis intervention, case management, trans-por-tation, professional coun-seling, information and re-ferrals, emergency shelter during a crisis, and emotional support during the judicial process or medical emergencies. C.A.R.E. is funded through grants and donations made by community entities and individuals.

An open house will be held November 1, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the C.A.R.E. House, 302 S. Water Street, Rock Port. If you can’t participate and would like to send a card, mail one to C.A.R.E., P.O. Box 62, Tarkio, MO 64491.
