Pitch Club met November 9 at Aunt Martha’s B&B. Sharon Smith and Vickie Smith joined our group as substitutes. Pam Cooper won high, Sharon Smith second high, and I got my quarter back, suffering low score. Pam was hostess and served a pumpkin bar accompanied by an ice cream cup. We always snack during games and sampling several flavors of popcorn kept everyone happy. No one was anxious to go home to get dinner.

The conversation was about our next meeting. It is our Christmas dinner meeting with invited guests. We don’t meet on Thanksgiving week so it’s time to think about Christmas. I think we settled on fried chicken. Is that a Christmas menu item? As long as I don’t have to fry it, I’ll like it. With the holiday season quickly approaching, we extend our best wishes for a winning hand.
