The Rock Port Park Board met Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at the Rock Port City Hall. Members present were Jill Lager, Jennifer Geib, Tawni Ellis, Devon Sons, Andrea Cook, and Sheena Roup. Jill called the meeting to order at 7:07 pm. The meeting agenda was approved, as well as the October 13 meeting minutes and October 2021 financials.

Budget

The council members are aware that the budget has a net loss; however, this is due to the park board assuming all outsourcing for mowing expenses and pool maintenance. The park board is open to renegotiating the maintenance agreement with the city to help resolve some of the deficit.

Pool Update

They are continuing the search for available grant money.

Park Board Ordinances & Maintenance Agreement

The board is looking for further communication in regards to our October requests for updating park board ordinances as well as the status of our maintenance agreement.

Board members voted to have Sheena Roup be the cardholder for the park board credit card to replace Shauna Farmer.
