The Fairfax junior high and high school band performed “Jingle all the Way,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “The Polar Express,” and “I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.”
The Fairfax K-12 Christmas program was held December 13, 2021. The event was full of music and fun as the students put their friends and family into the holiday spirit with their festive performances.
The preschoolers, under the direction of their teacher, Miss Lauren Clark, sang “Jingle Bells” (Traditional), “Little Snowflake” by Super Simple Songs, and “Reindeer Pokey” by The Kiboomers. Preschoolers include Jack Clement, Ivan Gibilsco, Kooper Long, Taylor Long, Annistyn Schebaum, Nash Stevens, Elliott Thomas, Charlie White, and Jackson Zumbrunnen.
The kindergartners through fourth graders, under the direction of Debra Wyatt, performed the musical “How To Train Your Reindeer (To Fly)” by Teresa Jennings and Karl Hitzemann. Kindergartners include Xavier Bradbury, Paisleigh Daugherty, Ayden Harber, Lucy Heck, Jo Hurst, Damon Lambert, Nakeyda Mathew, Joella Meston, Isaiah Price, Lane Reed, Alex Rhoades, Ellee Salmond, Skylar Sportsman, Abigail Umbarger, and Garrett Wintz. The first graders include Haleena Allen, Greenley Grossman, Harper Hicks, Abel Holmes, Presley Knight, Jonah Long, William Oswald, Alan Pickard, and Braleigh Stoner. Second graders include Eli Auwarter, Adelynn Giddinge, Chevelle Hall, Trevelyan Hicks, Emma Roecker, Ryann Salmond, and Emmett Umbarger. Third graders include Andrew Bouley, Gabriel Cain, Zailynn Cook, Simon Hurst, Zach Koop, Ava Oswald, Alex Pickard, Gabe Rhoades, Ayden Stoner, Joel Vance, Patrick Wheeler, and Parker Woodring. Fourth graders are Kaylee Allen, David Bouley, Dominick Bradbury, Geb Burke, Zander Grossman, Mikayla McDonald, Delaney Oswald, Mackenzie Oswald, Jaycee Stoner, Ben Umbarger, Alex Wintz, and Lela Wright.

The sixth grade band performed “Santa Stomp” by Rob Grice. The fifth and sixth grade choir sang “Jingle Bell Rock by J. Beal and J. Boothe and “A Tongue Twister Holiday” arranged by Greg Gilpin. Fifth graders include Deyton Burke (baritone), Mylisa Folkerts (flute), Brenna Kingery (clarinet), Riley Koop (alto saxophone), Caroline Larson (trumpet), Jude Long (trumpet), Aliyah Pearce (clarinet), and Olivia Woods (alto saxophone). Sixth graders include Ace Allen (clarinet), Lataveon Brown (baritone), Damon Drummond (trumpet), Tyler Duering (percussion), Carley Graham (clarinet), Leila Knight (trumpet), Tabitha Nester (percussion), Knox Oswald (tuba), Bentley Price, Henry Smith (percussion), Jaxson Smith (trombone), Mack Smith, Brady Umbarger (alto saxophone), Emma Vance (baritone), and Stella VanGundy (percussion).

Jr. high band members include: flutes – Amelia Larson and Piper Morris; clarinets – Lexi Brown and Erin Eyman; alto saxophones – Chloe Vernon and Connor Miller; tenor saxophone – Braylon Foster; baritone saxophone – Joaquin Hill; trumpet – Austin Helfers; trombone – Mason Kingery; and percussion – Trent Frohn. High school band members include: clarinets – Stormie Wallace and Payton Woodring; alto saxophones – Cowen O’Riley; trumpet – Olivia Morris; baritones – Kendall Kingery and KayDee Duering; and percussionists – Georgia Swinehart, Hayden Riley, Luke Swinehart, and Clayton Vernon.
