Atchison County Public Water Supply District #1 intends to apply for grant funds through the Missouri Department of Economic Development and USDA Rural Development for grant and low interest loan funds. The funds are needed to replace water lines throughout the district due to water loss and aging water infrastructure.

PWSD #1 has mailed LMI (Low-to-Moderate Income) surveys to their customers that need to be completed to determine eligibility to apply for the grant and low interest loan funding. The surveys need to be completed and returned by March 18, 2022.
