The Atchison County Commission met Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, and North District Commissioner Jim Quimby. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission, was absent.
Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills were reviewed and approved for payment.
Monthly department reports were reviewed and approved.
Collector Diane Livengood was it to discuss the abatement of 2016, 2017 and 2018 personal property taxes. No vote was taken at this time.
Rhonda Wiley, E-911/Emergency Management Director, was in to discuss department matters.
Prosecuting Attorney Brett Hurst was in to inform the commission that he would be seeking the appointment to fill the associate judge position now open.
There being no further business, the commission adjourned.

North District Commissioner Jim Quimby was absent, but went out and inspected the roads in the Outlaw Project area. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission, was absent.
