The Rock Port Blue Jays took second place at the 275 Conference Scholar Bowl Tournament at the Mound City R-2 School on Wednesday, March 30. The Tarkio Indians ranked in the top eight teams in the High School 275 Scholar Bowl Tournament that was held at the Mound City R-2 School on Wednesday, March 30. The 275 Conference Top 8 Scholar Bowl Tournament was held Wednesday, March 30, at Mound City R-2. Teams competing were Mound City, Osborn, Rock Port, South Holt, South Nodaway, Tarkio, Union Star, West Nodaway.

Results of the tournament are as follows:

Round 1: Rock Port 220 vs. West Nodaway 110, Union Star 290 vs. Osborn 130, Mound City 280 vs. South Holt, and South Nodaway 110 vs. Tarkio 230

Round 2: Rock Port 340 vs. Union Star 220, West Nodaway 140 vs. Osborn 350, Mound City 280 vs. Tarkio 180, and South Nodaway 230 vs. South Holt 180

Mound City won the championship with 270 points vs. Rock Port’s 180.Third place went to Union Star with 280 vs. Tarkio 130, and Osborn won the consolation round with 300 vs. South Nodaway 110.
