Nash Schomburg, Rock Port, Missouri, is the recipient of a 2022 First-Time Missouri State Fair Livestock Exhibitor Grant. The Missouri State Fair Foundation awarded 109 of the First-Time Exhibitor Grants to deserving youth across the state. The First-Time Missouri State Fair Livestock Exhibitor Grant program received the Judge’s Choice Overall Agricultural Award from the International Association of Fairs & Exhibitions in 2020. Since then, there has been an overwhelming response from youth livestock exhibitors and their families. The MSF Foundation Board decided to add the program to ensure every youth who would like to exhibit livestock for the first time at the Missouri State Fair has the opportunity to do so in 2022.

Exhibitors must be a Missouri resident and a current member of 4-H or FFA and be between the ages of 8 and 18 as of December 31, 2021. Exhibitors may not have previously exhibited any livestock (horse, cattle, swine, sheep, goat, chicken, or rabbit) in a 4-H or FFA class at the Missouri State Fair.
