The last two weekends there have been locks cut off of storage units in Tarkio, Rock Port and Fairfax. Last weekend, they broke into three units just north of Hy-Vee in Tarkio. This happened after 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Also, to help prevent thieves cutting the lock, it’s suggested that “circular” style locks similar to that pictured below need to be installed on any unit that you may have. They are very difficult to cut with bolt cutters.
