Are you looking for connection with others? God can help. Life can be a pain, quite literally. Each of us have felt heartbreak and loss at different times of our lives. In a pandemic world we have felt the separation and anxiety that has happened all around us.
What can we do with the unresolved feelings of life? We turn to God. Our Lord created us to be encouragers of one another, lifting one another beyond the broken moments of our lives. Proverbs 19:17 says, “The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the Lord, and the Lord will repay him for his good deed.”
The Spirit of Christ is moving in our community to bring people back to L.I.F.E. (Living In Faith Everyday). The non-denominational group of Christians will meet at the Fairfax United Methodist Church Tuesday, May 10, at 5:00 p.m. for a time of fellowship, study, laughter and life.
Gatherings will give us time to discuss the needs of the community through a biblical lens. A calling tree will be formed for those in our community who need a helping hand. When we are called and sent, we will go to help our neighbors in mission.
Psalm 68:5: Learn to do what is right! Promote justice! Give the oppressed reason to celebrate! Take up the cause of the orphan! Defend the rights of the widow!
