On Sunday, May 8, 2022, Reverend Glenn Scott with the First Baptist Church in Tarkio was honored for his 45 years of ministry. He began on May 4, 1977, at Stringtown Baptist Mission in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. From 1979-81, he ministered at Grace Baptist in Ripley, Tennessee. In 1981, he was at the Trinity Baptist Church and was Baptist Student Union Director at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. From 1982-84, he led the congregation at First Baptist in Doniphan, Missouri, and was the BSU director at Three Rivers Community College. From 1985-87, he was at Zion Baptist, Jasper, Missouri; from 1987-90 at Lebanon Baptist, McGirk, Missouri; and 1990-95 at Pleasant Hill Baptist, Jefferson City, Missouri. In 1995, Glenn and his family came to Tarkio and he began his ministry at the First Baptist Church in Tarkio, where he remains today.
