Tyler Cook pitched for the first five innings in the district opener against the South Holt Knights. Rock Port would go on to win 3-2.
The Rock Port High School Blue Jays played the South Holt Knights in varsity baseball action Friday, May 13, 2022, for the first round of the Class 1, District 16 play-off.
The game was scoreless until the fifth inning when the Blue Jays scored. At the end of the 6th inning the Blue Jays plated two on an RBI double. The Jays had a 3-0 lead. South Holt rallied in the final inning, but the Blue Jays held on for a 3-2 victory. Individual Rock Port stats follow:

Rock Port played Platte Valley in their second round of the play-offs. Unfortunately, the Blue Jays fell 0-15, ending their district play and 2022 season. The Rock Port team played well in their inaugural year of the sport and gained valuable experience.
