The Wolves Baseball Team will be playing for the Class 2, District 16 Championship Wednesday, May 18, at 5:30 p.m. in Maysville, Missouri. They will play Maysville. Go Wolves! Many Atchison County track stars will be competing at State in Jefferson City, Missouri, Saturday, May 21. Good luck to all Blue Jays and Wolves!

School is ending this week for Atchison County students and teachers. Congratulations on your accomplishments this year and we hope you all have a great summer! Also, congratulations to retiring teachers and staff members Lori Staten, Terry Wooten, Jerri Harbin, Donna Million, Stacy Hughes, and Debbie Young. Your dedication to seeing to the education of our children has been extraordinary. You all have made a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of children.

A big shout out to the Atchison County Postal Carriers as they collected canned food for the food pantry in the recent Stamp Out Hunger campaign. This year, 748.1 pounds of food was collected and donated. Thank you for all of the extra things you do throughout the year.
