Make plans to attend Rock Port’s first Farmers Market Saturday, June 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The booths will be set up at 417 S. Main, next to the Atchison County Memorial Building. Ten vendors will be set up and bounce houses will be available to keep the kiddos entertained while you shop. Live music by Tom n Rox will start at 10:00 a.m. Stop by and enjoy the food and fun! Rock Port Farmers Market will also be held Saturdays, July 2 and August 6.

No Hunger Summer begins June 1. All children (regardless of income) eat for free and will dine (no carry-outs) at the Rock Port United Methodist Church (211 W. Opp). Adults who bring the children may eat for $1 (optional). Meals will be served from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Cowboys and cowgirls are invited to Cowboy Church Sunday, June 5, at the Linden Christian Church (17191 165th Street, Rock Port). Sunday school begins at 9:00 a.m. and the church meetin’ is at 10:00 a.m. Bring a lawn chair (hay bales will also be available). Horse riders are welcome! Chuckwagon chow, a trail ride, and fun games will also take place.
