The ladies from the EA golf team have started summer competitions. They play in a summer tournament series, Northwest Missouri Junior Tournament Series. Golfers from all over northwest Missouri participate.

The first competition was rained out. The team is waiting on a reschedule from Shiloh Springs in Platte City, Missouri.

The second competition was a two-day tournament held at Mozingo Golf course in Maryville. The event was hosted by the Missouri Golf Association with golfers from across the state. The competition was tough and so was the course as the girls had to play from the men’s tees. A team from Lake Ozark took first with a two day total of 155. The EA girls did well and all improved greatly from the first day to the second day. Individual places and totals for the EA golfers were: Alex Barnett, 202, 8th place; Kelsea Kirwan, 220, 9th place; and Josie King, 227, 11th place (tie).
