Atchison County Community Services, Inc., in conjunction with the Atchison County Back-to-School Fair, is asking for monetary do-nations. Community Services is looking to provide 66 low-income county kids with gift certificates for $60 each to a shoe store to purchase new shoes for school. The goal is $3,960 and needs to be reached by July 24. As of Monday, June 27, $1,407 had been donated.
