Jeremy Jackson, MoDOT engineer for northwest Missouri, was the guest speaker at the July 26, 2022, meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club. He shared that there are 580 miles of state roads in Atchison County serviced by 18 people utilizing nine trucks. MoDOT is always looking for employees. Jeremy answered many questions posed by the Rotarians concerning roads in our county.
