A Rock Port, Missouri, man received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route A, east of Watson, Missouri, August 20, 2022. The crash occurred at 1:13 a.m. east of Route D when a 2005 Harley Davidson FLSTFI, driven by Ronald J. Hall, 61, was westbound on Route A and travelled off the north side of the roadway into a ditch. The motorcycle continued westbound before it overturned and ejected Hall. The Harley came to rest in the ditch on its side facing south.

Hall, who was wearing a helmet, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by an Atchison-Holt ambulance to George C. Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, Iowa. The Harley sustained extensive damage and was secured on site.

The accident was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper V. P. Wiley, who was assisted by Trooper C. J. Blue, Trooper J. D. Schmedding, the Atchison-Holt Ambulance Service, and Atchison County Sheriff’s Office.
