New members were inducted into the Rock Port National Honor Society October 5, 2022. They are, from left to right: front row – Jaysa Welch, Chaney Vogler, Dylan Kemerling, and Kylie Beasing; middle row – Jayden Krutz, Ozey Hurst, Carter Gebhards, Tarver Muntz, Kenny Brion, and Brogan Krutz; and back row – Dereck Dush, Peyton Lager, Bannack Skillen, Reed Miller, and Rylee Jenkins.

The Rock Port National Honor Society held an induction ceremony for new members October 5, 2022, at the high school.

New inductees are Kylie Beasing, Kenny Brion, Andrea Dush, Dereck Dush, Carter Gebhards, Ozey Hurst, Rylee Jenkins, Dylan Kemerling, Brogan Krutz, Jayden Krutz, Peyton Lager, Reed Miller, Tarver Muntz, Bannack Skillen, Chaney Vogler, and Jaysa Welch.

The 2022-23 officers are: Phillip Herron, president; Kylie Nuckolls, vice-president; Morgan Cofer, secretary; Jarrett Hunter, treasurer; Aidan Burke, Student Council representative; Mikayla Makings, historian; Anneliese Clauson, reporter/public relations; and Brecken Kelly, liaison officer.

Mrs. Megan Bebb, NHS Advisor, welcomed all in attendance and Kylie Nuckolls led everyone in a prayer.

Phillip Herron gave the introduction. NHS members spoke on the following topics: Andrea Dush, scholarship; Anneliese Clauson, service; Mikayla Makings, leadership; Jarrett Hunter, character; and Aidan Buurke, keeping a don’t quit attitude.

Phillip closed the meeting. Refreshments were enjoyed in the commons area.
