Nodaway County Conservation Agent Kris Smith invited a special guest, Smokey the Bear, for Fire Prevention Week. Smokey told students at Rock Port Elementary School about fire safety when camping or burning outside.

For the kindergarten through third grade class getting to take a fire truck ride is a big highlight.
