East Atchison fans are invited to a pep rally at the TAC in Tarkio Wednesday, November 2, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The EA football team is playing its first district game Friday and the Lady Wolves Volleyball Team and the EA Cross Country Teams are all heading to State this weekend. The pep rally will cheer them on to victory!

There’s lots to do in Tarkio this weekend! The Flower Mill Christmas Open House will be held Friday through Sunday. White Tee’s will also be hosting a Christmas Open House Friday through Sunday and the Tarkio Chamber of Commerce will be holding a ribbon cutting there at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 5. Atchison County Artisans will be holding a Holiday Makers Market Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Tarkio Community Building. The Mule Barn Theatre Guild will also be hosting the Staten Family Singers in a concert in the Rotary Theatre in Thompson Learning Center at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6. Also on Sunday in Tarkio, the Legion and Legion Auxiliary’s 56th annual turkey dinner will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. inside the Legion Building at 201 N. 3rd Street.
