Robert Martin “Bob” Fischer was born October 5, 1941. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 25, 2022. Bob was born and raised in Watson, Missouri, and graduated from Watson High School in 1959.

Bob married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Mae Kingery, on July 22, 1962. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bess Fischer, and two sisters, Paulyne Fischer and Sharee Ross. His legacy includes wife, Nancy Fischer; children, Zel (Julie) Fischer, Becky (Jay) Wohlers, Valorie (Russ) Hedges, and Stacy (Russ) Potter; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Bob’s hobbies were fishing, hunting, and enjoying his grandkids. After retiring, Bob worked as a bailiff for the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office where he proudly showed off his handcuffing skills.

According to Bob’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date, at High Creek Cemetery, Watson.
