
The Fairfax R-3 K-12 Christmas Program was held December 14, 2022, and featured musical numbers by band and choir members, as well as a production of “Elflandia.”

The Fairfax preschoolers don their reindeer gear for the “Reindeer Pokey” at the K-12 Christmas Program.

The 5th grade band “Hot Cross Buns,” “Rolling Along,” and “Jingle Bells.”

The Fairfax 6th grade band played “Santa on the Housetop” and “Angels We have Heard on High.”

The gym was full of elves who helped everyone get into the Christmas spirit.

Payton Woodring and Kierra McDonald sang solos during “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”

The Fairfax 5th-6th grade choir sang “The Holiday Tango!” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree with Jingle Bell Rock.”

The 7th-12th band played “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” “All is Calm,” and “Jingle Bell Fantasy.”

The 7th-12th band started the evening off with “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” arranged by Larry Kerchner (Kierra McDonald and Payton Woodring provided vocal solos and Chloe Vernon had an alto saxophone solo), “All is Calm” arranged by Robert W. Smith (Amelia Larson flute solo, Trent Kingery trombone solo, and Cowen O’Riley alto sax solo), and “Jingle Bell Fantasy” by James Lord Pierpont and set by James Swearingen.
The 5th-6th choir performed “The Holiday Tango!” by Greg Gilpin and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree with Jingle Bell Rock” arranged by Mark Hayes.
The high school band played “Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!” arranged by Johnnie Vinson.
The preschoolers took the stage and performed to “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (The Nutcracker)” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, “Jingle Bells,” “Little Snowflake,” and “Reindeer Pokey” by The Kiboomers.
