Tarkio Christmas Sisters

The Christmas Sisters of Tarkio – Karen Clark and Sherry Clement – were the Tarkio Parks & Rec Christmas Light Parade Grand Marshals. The two were nominated and selected by residents who love the two local ladies and the support they show to all Tarkio’s residents and the community as a whole.

Frosty the Snowman

An extra large Frosty the Snowman, provided by the Donny and Kristy Noland family, made an appearance in the parade.

Rudolph provides some warmth

JoAnne Kaelin threw out comfy scarves to Christmas Light Parade spectators. Her float theme was “Rudolph.”

Santa, Buddy, and The Grinch – Oh My!

There were lots of special characters in attendance at the parade, including Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, Frosty The Snowman, Gingerbread Man, and Buddy the Elf.

Guess the movie

Several businesses, churches, and organizations joined the parade to go along with the theme of Christmas Movies. Pictured above is Tarkio UMC with A Christmas Story (at top), Tarkio Golf Club with A Charlie Brown Christmas (middle), and another Peanuts gang (aka the Flower Mill, above).
