The Community Hospital-Fairfax conference room was bursting with holiday cheer December 8 as beautiful poinsettias of all sizes and Christmas cacti lined the walls. The poinsettia sale is an annual event  for the Hospital Auxiliary with all proceeds going towards the purchase of hospital equipment. The same room displayed many baked goods volunteers made for the annual fall bake sale November 22.

The Auxiliary hosted an appreciation tea for the hospital employees December 14.

As the year comes to a close volunteers are asked to turn  in their volunteer hours. At this time a total of 2,925 hours has been recorded. This is quite an accomplishment for the 46 auxiliary members.

They will begin the new year with a chili/soup supper Tuesday, January 17, at the Fairfax R-3 Cafeteria.
