Well, can you believe it? We have reached the end of another year 2022. In just a few days, we will be ringing in the New Year of 2023. It is a great time for those of us who profess our faith in Jesus Christ to assess how we have served Him in 2022. How we used our talents, time, and treasures to further His Kingdom here on earth. Inviting souls to come into a relationship with the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). What resolutions can we make, in prayer, to support the ministries of our local churches, be a part of the leadership, and meet the needs we see in Matthew 25? Feeding hungry, clothing the naked, giving living water to the thirsty in body and soul, or visiting the prisoners literally, or those who are in prisoned by addictions of all kinds? What will be your resolutions?
For those of you seeking a relationship, or seeking to return to a relationship with God, simply lift up this prayer: “Oh gracious God, please take me as I am, and help me through your Word in the Bible, to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and be led by the Holy Spirit to a community of faith, in which I may be fed. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.”
Always remembering, as we go into this new year, that “God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son. That whoever believes in Him, will have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
From my family, and church family, to yours, Have a Happy and Blessed New Year!
