The Tarkio Park Board – thanks to donations from local organizations, businesses, and residents – are making progress with their sports complex renovation projects. The new bleachers at the City of Tarkio Ball Field have been installed and the work will soon be completed in time for the upcoming East Atchison high school baseball season.

The board is also seeing to the renovations of the Stevenson Park basketball court/park area next to the tennis courts at Maple and 10th streets in Tarkio and will be adding a sand volleyball court there.
