The Tarkio Parks & Recreation Board held a contest, allowing whoever donated the most to the bleacher renovation project to throw the first pitch of the season. The Duane “Clem” Clement Memorial Fund was the top contributor, so his wife, Sherry Clement of Tarkio, threw the first pitch while her daughters, Lisa Clement, Lori Staten, and Terri Clement, and sister, Karen Clark, looked on.

 

Tarkio Parks & Recreation completed the bleacher project just in time for the opening of the East Atchison baseball season at the Tarkio City Ball Field.

The East Atchison Wolves Baseball Team hosted a jamboree with Rock Port and Nodaway Valley Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Tarkio City Ball Field. The attendees were excited to see the new bleacher renovations recently completed by the Tarkio Parks & Recreation Board.

To start the night off, Sherry Clement of Tarkio threw the first pitch. The Tarkio Parks & Recreation Board held a contest, allowing whoever donated the most to the bleacher renovation project to throw the first pitch of the season.
