Four hits from Owen DeRosier helped lead the way for the East Atchison Wolves Varsity over North Andrew 19-9 on Friday, March 24, 2023, in Tarkio. DeRosier singled in the third, doubled in the third, singled twice in the fourth. EA collected 11 hits and North Andrew had six. Blake Simmons led East Atchison with two stolen bases, as the wolf pack ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases. Braden Graves led the team in RBIs with four.
The Wolves pulled away for good with seven runs in the third inning. In that inning, Trent Kingery drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Braden Graves drew a walk scoring one run, an error scored two runs, and DeRosier doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs. The runs kept on coming in the fourth when the Wolves scored 12.
Zack Stevens started on the mound for EA. The pitcher surrendered five runs on five hits over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one.

The junior varsity Wolves also had a successful night, defeating North Andrew 6-4. The game was tied at three with the Wolves batting in the bottom of the second when William Kimpston singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs. Gabe Harms also singled in the second, on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Luke Morey toed the rubber for EA. Morey allowed two hits and three runs over two-thirds of an inning, walking zero.
Kimpston, Harms, and Trent Kingery each collected one hit for the Wolves.
