Tarkio Tech held a career day Wednesday, March 22, 2023, for Northwest Missouri students. Students heard from a variety of speakers representing a range of career possibilities.

Rod Bolton, account manager with B103 Radio, talked to the students from eight area schools in northwest Missouri about the communications aspect of radio.

Tyson Gibbons, City of Tarkio Chief of Police, shared his experience of working in law enforcement in Atchison County over the last 25 plus years.

Gregg Roberts, Vice President of Human Resources for Hillyard Companies, was the keynote speaker for the day. Mr. Roberts was a no-holds-barred speaker, letting the kids know that there are expectations in today’s work environment – whether it is showing up on time or being respectful – it all matters to those who are hiring.
