The East Atchison baseball team played Platte Valley on Monday, April 3, 2023, losing to the South Nodaway/Jefferson co-oped team 2-12.
EA’s one highlight of the game was in the top of the second inning when Wolf Tate Johnson hit a solo homer. Alex Erickson toed the rubber for the Wolves. He went three innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out one. River Dow threw two and a third innings in relief. Dow led EA with two hits in two at bats.
