UMKC conservatory students who are getting ready to graduate host their own senior recital showcasing the skills they have developed. Josie Watkins of Rock Port held her recital this past weekend. She sang in French, Italian, German and English. Josie is the daughter of Sarah and Jason Watkins. She will graduate May 13 from the conservatory with a Bachelor’s in music and a minor in theatre. She is currently working as an alto section leader for the choir at Christ Church Anglican in Overland Park, Kansas, and has been engaged in various gigging and recording projects.
