The Rock Port High School Music Department participated in the District Music Contest Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Rock Port musicians and their results were: Arianna Shimmel, vocal, silver; Kylie Beasing, clarinet, silver; Sara Newbanks, bass clarinet, silver; Jaymes Herron, tenor sax, silver; Brentyn Herron, tuba, developing; Ryan Lucas, trumpet, silver; Anneliese Clauson, flute, silver; and Hadleigh Jones, vocal, silver.

Abby Palmer is the music director. The students were accompanied by Richard Boettner.
