The District Scholar Bowl Tournament was held April 15, 2023, in Tarkio.

Results from the tournament are as follows:

Round Robin #1 – Tarkio 60 vs. Mound City 320; Fairfax 110 vs. North Nodaway 80; Craig 80 vs. Rock Port 410

Round Robin #2 – Mound City 340 vs. Rock Port 250; Craig 130 vs. North Nodaway 100; Nodaway-Holt 270 vs. Tarkio 180

Round Robin #3 – Nodaway-Holt 210 vs. Fairfax 100; Tarkio 290 vs. Craig 60; Rock Port 360 vs. North Nodaway 50

In the semifinals, Mound City scored 460 to Fairfax’s 100, and Rock Port scored 340 to Nodaway-Holt’s 140.

Mound City won the championship match, scoring 340 over Rock Port’s 210.

All-District honors went to Bannack Skillen and Malachi Skillen.

275 Scholar Bowl All-Conference Teams included: First Team – Bannack Skillen, Rock Port, 82 average points;  Second Team – Alex Barnett, Tarkio, 38.5 average points; and Cowen O’Riley, Fairfax, 27.4 average points.
