Fairfax Optimist Club has a new member who is breaking records for the club by being the youngest member in its history. Cowen O’Riley, right, an active student at Fairfax R-3 School, has joined the group that meets at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings at the Daybreak Cafe in Fairfax. Cowen looks forward to helping the club with its community service projects and finding ways to help the youth in Fairfax.
