Thanks to neighbor Jim Bob Barker and quick response from Chief Tyson Gibbons and Tarkio Volunteer Firemen Charlie Kirwan, Curtis Hedrick, and Shane Bredensteiner, a fire at the Chris Hall residence in Tarkio was quickly extinguished before too much damage could be done Thursday, May 11, 2023. The fire did char the foundation and siding on the southeast corner of the home, as well as an electrical box and nearby ground.
