Community Hospital-Fairfax welcomed Tarkio and Fairfax first grade classes for the Mary Combs Memorial Pediatric Orientation in early May. Classes took a tour of the hospital and visited a patient room, where they role-played what it would be like to be a patient with visits from nursing, laboratory, and radiology. The trip ended with hospital bed rides, wheelchair rides, treats, and goodie bags.
