The first Rock Port Farmers Market will be held this Saturday, June 3. Vendors will set up from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon inside and outside the Atchison County Memorial Building.

Thank you to the legionnaires, guest speakers, singers, and attendees who honored our fallen by presenting and attending the Memorial Day services in Atchison and Holt counties. We must never forget the sacrifices our service men and women made for our freedom.

The Rock Port and Tarkio Municipal Pools will be opening this week. If all goes as planned, the Rock Port Pool will open Wednesday, May 31, at 1:00 p.m. and the Tarkio Pool will open at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1.
