Kevin Edward Lewis, 45, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at his Rock Port, Missouri, home; he is at peace now and no longer is fighting his demons.

He was born in Fairfax, Missouri, on February 1, 1978, to Steven and Connie Lewis.

Kevin loved nothing more than being surrounded by nature at every opportunity. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, and  camping. Kevin had a big heart and loved being able to help other people whenever he could; his genuine kindness and big heart will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

He worked at Eaton’s for 13 years and was a regular farm hand, and also did odd jobs all over Northwest Missouri.

Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Dorothy Lewis; his maternal grandparents, Wayne “Dub” and Dorothy Harrington; and his first cousin, Heather Lewis.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Steven and Connie Lewis of Fairfax, Missouri; sister and brother-in-law, Darci and Brian Morey of Tarkio, Missouri; nephews, Seth and Luke Morey of Tarkio, Donovan Jones of Craig, Missouri, and Tyler (Taya) Jones of Rock Port; great niece, Micah Rose Jones; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
