Dominator Oil, 1306 U.S. Hwy. 136, Rock Port. Convenience store/gas station/restaurant. Inspector’s Comments: Manager was not there – left work with the staff. Inspector to return next week as their cooler went down yesterday, PHF’s relocated to other units, but everything is still a mess. The inspector informed them he would not be in Atchison County next week, but would be here June 6. Noted main store was very warm – Air conditioner is out.

Dominator Oil, 1306 U.S. Hwy. 136, Rock Port. Convenience store/gas station/restaurant. Priority Items: Rodent droppings in cabinets under the self-serve beverage machines. Styrofoam cups have been eaten on – all these need disposed of, cabinets cleaned, and pest control service contacted. Also, flies in kitchen area and restrooms. Core Items: No thermometer for cooks to use. No test kits for sanitizer. No handles on pizza prep table lids. Women’s left sink drain very slow. Three-bay sink faucet is dripping. Microwave is dirty. Bathroom odors – men’s is very bad. Dirty can opener. Hot foods (sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches) not held at 135°F or above and/or timer used as temperature control not followed. *Note – cook went home sink/kitchen being manned. Core Items: Damaged wall in hallway between restrooms – some damage in restroom. Hole in wall under three-bay sink. *Note – both restroom doors don’t completely close.
Happy Hills Gas & Coffee Co., 1201 U.S. Hwy. 136 W., Rock Port. Walk-through of new truck stop. Target date to open – end of July. Gourmet coffee shop, sit-down dining, full kitchen and c-store. Adequate ware washing and hand sinks. Floor to be sealed concrete. Walls painted/washable.
