Atchison County Community Services held its annual back-to-school fair Wednesday, July 26, at the Tarkio Community Building. A total of 91 children and  42 families were served that day.

Families walked around to different tables gathering information. Tables included Boy Scouts, University of Missouri Extension, C.A.R.E., Community Hospital-Fairfax, Social Welfare Board, Connections Counseling and Wellness, North Star, Atchison County Library, Easter Seals, Young at Heart Resources, Atchison County Health Department, Atchison County Head Start, Community Services, Brooke Vette and Autumn Murry, and Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments.

On their way out the door, those attending picked up a snow cone from Connections Counseling and Wellness, school supplies, and hygeine supplies.
