Many activities are planned for the Labor Day weekend at Indian Cave State Park. There will be guided horse trail rides and a living history demonstration of broom making. Free hayrack rides, bingo and kid’s corral rides are other planned activities.
The “Pioneer Longrifle’s Gun Club” will hold their rendezvous on Saturday and Sunday, September 2 and 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Black powder demonstrations will go on throughout the day.
Saturday evening the park will offer a fish fry with all the fixins’ from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The finale for Saturday night will be an aerial fireworks display starting at 9:00 p.m.
Buffalo smash burgers and deep fried corn on the cob will be served Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or until gone. The Sunday evening outdoor movie will be “Lost in the Woods” at 8:45 p.m.
